Etsy rocks.
Yes, I know that this is my second completely non-photography related post devoted entirely to Etsy, but I just love, love, love those clever crafters for so many reasons. Here are a few.
I am in love with this seller’s bags. I ordered one a few weeks ago, and am frantically holding back on also buying this new design. LOVE it. Ironically, I opened an email from a fellow Etsy-fanatic-friend (who also happens to be one of my favorite clients) this morning, and it contained a link to the SAME SELLER telling me she had just picked up this one. Right after I had emailed her about this one. It’s a sickness, people. Really, it is.
Also, fellow Photogs: you all are going to LOVE this little hat I picked up for my nearly here nephew. Will it not be *perfect* for Christmas Pics? I originally bookmarked this one from the same seller, and was totally bummed when it was gone a couple days later. But, but, but….my score is just as special, and I can’t wait to use it. And in celebration of the holiday season, I’m going to snag this awesome Advent Calendar later today in order to start a fun family tradition for our son.
Along those lines, this little trinket would be a great gift for the Photographer in your life. I snagged one a few months ago for a Photog friend and she loved it! Also, these paintings are just crazy gorgeous – I have one in my home and will be purchasing additional pieces in the new year.
Need more Christmas ideas? Check out these amazing bath/body products. Thanks to the aforementioned fanatical friend of mine, they are now in my shopping cart. The shave soap is supposed to be awesome as well for the clean-shaven cutie in your life. And, check out shops like this one for the littlest loves of your life. My son cannot put down his cool Yellow Bus we purchased a few weeks back. These little wipes holders are also amazing for anyone you know who is expecting a bundle of love.
The best part about shopping from Etsy is that the prices are just unbelievable! Plus, your hard earned dollars go straight to the hands of some hard-working crafter rather than through a large corporate entity. In addition, you can do all your holiday shopping right from home which, as we all know, enables us to spend more time with the true gifts in our lives: those we love.
Happy Holiday Shopping. – PB
